Evolve with us

The Foundation

The Last Neanderthals project was conceptualised as a community that can grow together. We want to create a space where people feel comfortable to learn, make new friends and work on self improvement all while working towards a common goal. We want to facilitate this growth and unity for our community through activities, events and content. Education is one of the pillars of our project and this interlinks really well with the Last Neanderthal universe. In our society neanderthals are regularly mocked for being stupid, in reality they were highly intelligent. We believe many humans are also unfairly assumed as being dumb, simply because of traditional education, in our opinion traditional education is not an accurate depiction of someones intelligence as young people can go through countless struggles which may result in them being less successful in school. This is one of the key motivators for us to create this project centred around neanderthals and education, we want to give everyone a space to learn which is different to the schooling system.

Our Story

King Dries

Some say King Dries has led his people into the golden age of neanderthals, however, tensions are beginning to rise.

King Dries

King Dries has a formidable reputation throughout the Kingdom, having galvanised the neanderthal nation and led his people into the golden age of our civilisation. There has been peace and affluence for as long as most of us can remember. However, the burdensome duty of the monarch escapes no ruler. Generation by generation, the king’s ‘civilised’ people are becoming greedy and materialistic, forgetting about their roots and discarding cultural foundations. The king is all too weary of prosperity’s double-edged sword. Moreover, whilst internal strife simmers, tensions with the barbaric tribes - those who refuse to assimilate into the Kingdom - continue to escalate. Many are looking to the King for a solution.

Ghani Kalam

Arguably the most important neanderthal in history. It's easy to see why he's referred to as the father of modern neanderthals.

Ghani Kalam

Some refer to him as the most important figure in neanderthal history. It is easy to see why, during his early adult life, the neanderthals were constantly warring with one another and with other species. He believed there was more to life, so he went exploring. It was during these explorations he found ancient human relics, which led him to dedicate his life to learning. He became a leader, creating a new civilisation. Every neand alive today is descended from Kalam and his followers; no other civilization of neanderthals was able to survive. Ghani Kalam is believed to have died long ago. However, many in today's society believe he is just a myth, and a very small number of fanatics believe he is still alive… somehow.

Osiris

Notorious within the Kingdom, respected outside of it. Osiris puts the safety of his people above all else.

Osiris

With a legendary reputation forged on the battleground, Osiris rose through the ranks to be chosen as warrior-king by his tribe. His fierce loyalty and courage has garnered respect, not just in his own tribe but across the tribal peoples. As the Kingdom continues to encroach on their autonomy and way of life, a galvanizing figure is required to unite tribal leaders and make the Kingdom pay for their hubris and disrespect. Will Osiris be the one to lead the way?

Borutric

Exiled and living in the shadows. Some believe he's misunderstood; others believe he’s the biggest threat to Neanderkind.
